Jax
Seneca Goodsman

Hi. I’m Seneca,

the owner of SEN & CO. My Australian Cattle Dog, Jax, is my motivation for becoming a trainer; he is by far the most difficult dog I have ever owned. He challenges me daily to be better. Dogs require structure boundaries, and most importantly, they need jobs! Cuddles are great and truly one of my favourite things to do with them; however, just like anything else in life, we need a clear line of communication and boundaries for any solid foundation. This is what I help provide my clients here at SEN & CO.

Continuing Education

It's a significant part of the dog training industry! With adjustments to existing techniques and new strategies continually being developed by experts, we take pride in staying current on it all!

Cheri Lucas
  • I am proud to announce the successful completion of the Train the Trainer 5 mentorship program with Cheri Wulff Lucas. Continuing my education, I attend as many of Cheri’s classes and lectures as possible, aiming to bring those enhanced skills back home to better assist your dogs!

Tom Davis
  • I am honoured to say that I completed Tom Davis’ “No Bad Dogs” training seminar in 2023.

Cesar Millan

“Discipline isn’t about showing a dog who’s boss; It’s about taking responsibility for a living creature you have brought into your world.”

Cesar Millan

"The dog is a reflection of your energy, of your behavior. You have to ask, 'What am I doing?' That's the right question to ask."

Our Training Techniques

  • Long Line Dog Training

    Long Line

Long line work is a great training technique to help dial your dog in, create engagement, and work on their pack drive.

  • Jentle Method ™️

    Jentle Method ™️

Jentle Method ‘was created by Jonathan Czinder (owner, Lead handler & Educator of Oregon Tails)

The Jentle Method is a series of 11 exercises increasing in difficulty. Throughout the practice of the Jentle Method, handler and dog begin to feel one another, respond to each other and ultimately begin moving together more harmoniously. The exercises themselves give a simple structure and task to perform whereby more attention can be given to feeling the dog, how they move, where resistance, fear, lightness or excess energy may lie. This helps the handler work on their timing and balance when it comes to supporting the dog through these moments and in life outside of their practice

  • E Collar

    E Collar

E-collar training is another application of pressure and release. Essentially, we layer electronic pressure on top of leash pressure. This method proves highly effective for off-leash adventures. While numerous e-collars exist in the market, we exclusively work with the trusted brand, E-Collar Technologies
